first time playing this i really hated it. obv i loved the art, music and characters. its all beautiful and incredibly impressive but the game just crushed my balls at every corner. the final bosses was one of the hardest bosses i had ever had the chance of fighting and fuck the last stage of the arena. however my replay a year later was fairly smooth and i enjoyed it alot more. i think it was better knowing what the world was like, so i came and did things with a plan. and surprisingly, i beat the final bosses with 1-2 deaths, it was like nothing. first time fighting them was so traumatic the muscle memory was permanently etched into my brain lmao. anyone that didnt like this id say give it another go it feels better knowing whats in store. also i think we can all agree hornets voice lines were very annoying. praying theres a mute button in silksong
