I knew how this game ends before buying it. I’ve played P3 Portable. I’ve watched videos about the game. And yet, I still bawled my eyes out at the end of the game. I’ve never played a game that connects you to every character so deeply while still maintaining robust combat. This is an incredible game.

This is my favorite video game of all time. It’s a treat for the eyes, has characters I love, and classic turn-based battles I adore. The story is relatively simple (until it isn’t), but the scale is massive and never stales for me. The concepts of forgiveness, letting go, and moving forward hit every time. Also it has Erik in it, god bless.
