I remember always wanting to play the “eatsa pizza” mini-game because I could always kick everyone’s ass at it.

I’ll always applaud games like this for trying something truly different.

I was never a hardcore DayZ player, but I’ll never forget my early experiences playing it. The first time I heard a car driving by in the distance after I’d been crawling around the countryside for an hour, was strangely impactful. There was a real sense of being alone and desperate every time I’d log in.

Put countless hours into this. I remember when the teaser image was released (which is the cover) and just how excited I was to hurl toilets at my enemies. Good god those Killbox maps with low gravity were the shit.

Especially worth playing the insane custom maps. Playing through the original half-life and it’s expansions was always a hell of an experience, especially when you get insta-gibbed by a glitched tram cart.

Another very impressive source mod.

Insanely difficult but gorgeous for the time.

Five stars for not being able to believe this actually exists and that I own a pristine copy. Michael! The echoing cries of the children as they are saved will forever be burnt into my mind.

2014

Scared the ever living piss out of me.

If only they could get back to this formula...

I had a few nice little times here and there over the years.

Basically just a reskin of Age of Empires II, but thats A-ok with me.

Worth it just to see Kyle Katarn's fmv acting.

Its pretty rough to get through these days.

Great art direction, not a whole lot of content.
