this game somehow expands on previous titles while also taking a step backwards. the timing of the release of this game will always be remembered as legendary (rip COVID) and it was awesome when everyone in the world was playing it. But it just feels like after awhile, you run out of stuff to do. the crafting aspect is great along with the fully customizable island, but it can be daunting to someone like myself who doesn't have a ton of creative ideas to build with. Still, the formula never disappoints with what ended up being my top played game in 2020.
