Wonderful mechanics and vibes, honestly one of best controlling 3d marios. I loved just running around and trying out cappy tricks. however i found the level design and moon placement to be pretty boring and repetitive. I think they could have done a lot more interesting world design as the worlds felt uninspired and extremely too easy.

Excellent writing and characters drew me in and kept me playing. Each character storyline kept me captivated to spend time with them and learn their story. I was a bit disappointed with the gameplay. after an hour, the resources stopped being a threat as cryo, energy and stabilizer became trivial to obtain and the dice rolling started becoming an unwanted barrier to progressing the storyline. However despite the gameplay, id definitely recommend to fans of throughtful science fiction writing
