i’ve wanted to play this game for a while, and yesterday i decided to start it.

the game is quite short so only will take around a few hours to complete the story, i had so much fun playing it.

the pixel artstyle is something i’m not used to with games but god it was amazing, everything was so well done and pretty, the music was great, i’ve never stopped and appreciated a games soundtrack until now, the characters were interesting and either easily likeable or dislikable, the plot was dark and interesting.

i was so invested in this game, to the point where i was eating my panini mid gameplay. THEN IT GOT TO THE END.

how come the game abruptly ended whilst i was midway through my ham and cheese panini? i was devastated and was so surprised it just ended there?? i was so disappointed because i was loving the game so badly.

i played helena and leon’s campaign with my boyfriend, which i think overall makes this game a better experience, which is probably the same for most games, however,

some of the things i disliked about this game was the level design, i won’t say much about it as i’m trying to keep it spoiler free. another thing is the healing (?) design/mechanic, whoever you play as literally becomes a pharmacist for like two seconds and has to put it in their weekly pill organizer. another thing that i didn’t like too much is how it was basically action, which might be a good thing for some if you dislike horror, it wasn’t scary at all which doesn’t really feel like resident evil but, as much as i’m yapping on, i did actually enjoy this game (big twist) i really enjoyed leon’s character in this game and helena, i loved her outfits and i really enjoyed playing as her !! if you’re a fan of re games or want to get into them, i would recommend this game still, especially if you’re not fond of horror, but i would recommend playing with a friend as you may end up submitting yourself into a psychiatric ward.
