childhood favorite but deeply flawed.
• impossible to have a good experience without nraas mods and some kind of frame rate limiter as it runs at 1000+ fps and crashes frequently if unmodified.
• create-a-sim runs like absolute shit and lags between category changes but its quite expansive with many customization features that don’t appear in the other game
• build/buy mode lags if you’re in it for more than 10 minutes. pricing system sucks. somehow no search feature with such a large catalog of items.
• some expansions like island paradise are unplayable without mods due to lag
• sometimes a save decides to shit itself and corrupt for no reason so you can easily lose hours of playtime in minutes. not good for players that like playing for a few generations.

least favorite of the sims franchise. missing a lot of features on launch, weird building system, overpriced expansion packs with little to no features, etc. it’s advisable not to pay full price for this garbage.
