So weightless, the way you move through this. It's so responsive, so fast moving that it might very well achieve a kind of 'pure game' kinesthetic charge for some, but to me at least it doesn't go far enough (something like Just Cause series really pushes this) and is tonally incongruous with its ecological themes any way. Turn me into a robot ninja, or let me feel the rocks beneath my feet — compromising on both is just so totally gross to me.

So sad to see this came from the Killzone devs, as that series was very physical (albeit clumsy). Luckily this engine was used for death stranding so all is well

oh nooo. i'm not used to a game being so intuitively 'not my shit'! most 3rd person run around in pretty landscapes games are at least kind of my shit. i guess i can think hzd for making me realise there's more to a good one than just the format?

yeah, that's super bizarre it has connections to both killzone and death stranding :-/
