Absolutely legendary game. Action command timing is tight, enemy design is polished, bros attacks are consistently unique and fun, boss design is probably the best in the series, just a stellar game overall. There are some parts at the end of the game where you may need to grind if you have the challenge medal (hard mode) equipped but it's overall a fantastic experience.

Very polished and well rounded game, everything is consistent, only issue is the difficulty. Give me a challenge medal and this game will become so much better.

An underrated entry in the Mario RPG games. Makes some good improvements over Superstar Saga, and also steps down in some areas. The atmosphere is incredible, and basically makes this game. Make it harder and make the bros attacks more unique, seriously, almost all of them are a spin on either jumping or the fire flower.

Didn't have that great of a time with it the first time around but I've grown to like it more. It is slower than the original but the enemies and bosses are overall harder to compensate. Could've been a little better, but it's still a very good remake.

This game is pretty fun. Only barely scrapes the list but it's got a lot of customisation options and would probably be really, really tough on the hardest difficulty. Some balance and pacing issues stop it from getting any higher though.

This one only barely makes the list. The bullet hell elements are the best part of the game and only really get used to their full potential with the final bosses of each route and a few exceptions.

Have not finished chapter 2 as of writing this, combat is overall better than Undertale but it still needs something else to make it great (and I don't mean the writing, that's still pretty good).
