Seconded, think this is discounting the ridiculous amount of heart in the hilariously awful writing, and how much like 2/3 of the gameplay slaps hard. We don’t talk about Tails/Eggman levels
It’s got genuinely more interesting depth in gameplay and soul to it than a mario game ever will
