the best video game franchise out there. i love you splatoon.

the game is super fun but i do think the catalog is a lame edition. even splatoon has fallen victim to the curse of the battle pass. a shame.

i really really really like this game's artstyle/character design. underrated aspect of it tbh

this is the greatest thing to ever be conceived by human hands

the gameplay is fun! genuinely pretty well designed and the royalty free music selection adds to the charm more than it detriments it. unfortunately i'm just not the biggest fan of LOL XD RANDOM toilet humor.

a pretty good port of the arcade games with undoubtedly the best song list of a hatsune miku game, but the original mechanics (specifically the way hold notes work) are much less fun and intuitive done on a normal console controller than with the giant buttons on the arcade cabinet. part of me wishes this game would stop getting re-released as much as it does as well.

this game shaped me into the person i am today but it's a bit hard to come back to now that i'm a more experienced rhythm game player. if they released a project diva game today with a similar tracklist and the sim elements from this game i would eat it up immediately

your typical vscroller rhythm game with stylish visuals but a very hit or miss soundtrack if you choose not to buy any expansions. really forced live service elements as well.

an alright arcade rhythm game tailor made for PC (it plays like an easier taiko no tatsujin). i can understand people being turned away by the relatively high price for that experience though

very pretty! it was a fun thing to keep my hands busy with while listening to things, but its heavy focus on limited items really turns me away from picking it up again

the basic gameplay loop is addicting for a bit but the gacha system in place is both the worst one i've ever had the displeasure of using in my life, and is engineered to make those that don't actively engage with it have a significantly worse time playing. why would you make a game about grinding for character stat increases and then make said characters an active chore to obtain in the first place.

i have a soft spot for a lot of the character designs but the actual game is extremely flawed and is destined to always stay that way now that its younger brother has proven to be mega successful. fly high king (lying through my teeth)

the gameplay is boring and the story+character design even more so but it was all precisely calculated to make the developers a bajillion money and give them loads of attention. and it worked.

eve wakamiya solos every proseka oc but it will never be enough to save the clunky rhythm gameplay

the gameplay is essentially a watered down chunithm, which is fun in small bites, but at the end of the day is never going to be utilized to its full potential when the main appeal will always be the (very lackluster) story and gacha mechanics. still the best idol mobile game.
