Loved this one so much i put the time in to 1CC on OG very hard mode, one of my favorite games of all time! Probably the most known part of this game is the OST which is straight fire in FM form, but when it's blasting in sync to the ever evolving and escalating levels on your way to the moon it becomes something truly special. Very much rides the line between a traditional shmup and bullethell but with it's shield mechanic it gives a very unique feel that ends up being more about routing and proper tool use with some raw dodging skill on the side. Great selection of difficulty options for all skill levels but does take some time to unlock extra options and such depending on how much you're scoring. Training modes not being fully accessible without grinding is what i consider the games only obvious flaw so be ready to credit feed a bit starting out to learn the game for a 1CC. Highly recommend it regardless

I can't believe its not Cave! Seriously who the fuck made this?! One of the highest quality doujin/indie bullet hell shmups I've had the pleasure to play. Easiest way i would describe it is if Progear and Ketsui had a baby. Initially picked it up not expecting much but loved the game so much i put the hours in to 1CC Very Hard and Extreme modes. Gorgeous pixel art and patterns i only i can describe as purely Cave. Has difficulty for players of all skill levels, from easy/normal for those who want something novice friendly to the more intermediate Hard mode/Very hard and ending with the very different Extreme mode which adds slowdown, shrinks the hitboxes, puts the bullet count up, changes mechanics and adds a true last boss. BUT the real final challenge of the game is doing a hard mode 2-all. That loops into VeryHard mode but adds revenge bullets and ends with an even more evil TLB. Very obscure and underplayed but dripping with quality. if you like Danmaku its a must play.

1CCd the arcade version on the "Ray'z arcade chronology" steam ports. Really cool Taito shmup with kick ass atmosphere, sprite scaling and parallax. Zuntata yet again knocks the music out of the park and really contributes to the games vibe. Both OSTs are fantastic. Played for survival but was chaining the early stages a bit, you can push the score quite a bit like any good shmup if you want something more to chew on.

1CCd with all 8 ships, one of the best shmups I've played so far. The push and pull with the rank system and scoring for lives to suicide away, is one of the most engaging systems in a shmup once you know whats going on. I would love to push the score and get some higher letter ranks under my belt someday
