The gameplay is weak, but the game compensates for this by also not being funny.

Fantastic RPG that lacks a much-needed final layer of polish.
The weak combat is outweighed by the depth of the game - the nuance of each faction (most of them at least), the build variety and dialogue options that come with it, and many different endings just as a few examples. Even the most tertiary, unimportant, tucked-away characters in this world could have a gripping story behind them and a sidequest to boot.
Oh, and Caesar can suck my nuts. He will die in all my runs.
