Short point and click!! Just wish it had been a little longer/more complex :)

A super short graphic novel that sometimes I like to experience all over again, because the atmosphere, story, art style and lovely song give it a heartbreaking but beautiful sense of loneliness.

A Raven Monologue - A Review

An experience that invites the player to immerse themselves in its world without the existence of words, despite the game including the term 'monologue’ in its title, which indicates otherwise. It's a simple story that explores loneliness, empathy, and how loneliness manifests in relationships with not only others but also the 'self'.

The strongest factor in this narrative is the visual style, accompanied by a beautiful song sung by Christabel Annora. However, I think the game could have benefited from incorporating more interactive features to engage with; there’s potential to push creative boundaries that haven't been explored, leading to a disappointing experience, even if ultimately the journey is a short one.

Momotype is a unique horror visual novel based on the premise of raising a tamagotchi as a real life pet.

It utilises a progressive story continuation with each playthrough which is clever once you know the meaning behind it.
Momotype manages to hit a wide range of emotions throughout its runtime which is very impressive on its own, but it is complemented by a gorgeous sepia-toned pixel artstyle and what little music there is in this game, it is used to its fullest potential imo.

It's surprisingly dark with its themes, while its story sits as a contemplation upon the ethics of AI, and mortality.
I was immersed thoroughly, and even though it isn't actually scary, there are a few scenes that made me unnerved/uneasy.

Momotype holds in its hands a compelling narrative, and it makes sure its medium of being a VN doesn't hold it back by using it in some very interesting ways.

Simply put, a quality title for whom the entry price is merely an hour of your time.
Highly recommended!

A cute apocalyptic tale about taking care of a Tamagotchi-esque child.

Wierd Visual Novel about philosophy? Didn't really get it, but fun enough to try it.

its fun but not really anything all that special

The content is actually more interesting that I expected but the visuals were underwhelming, could have been a real book at that point

Despite its short length, it manages to capture you into the situation the characters are in. The presentation is extremely high quality with great OST, sound and art.

A short tale about a demon trapped within a circle, and the boy who stumbles upon her by chance. Juniper's Knot succeeds in telling the exact story it sets out to, aided by gorgeous art and an effectively melancholy soundtrack.
