I really enjoyed the gameplay. Considering the fact that I didn’t like the speed of slashing and too fat enemies. Here they fixed everything. So I could enjoy the fame on hard.
But. The plot was mostly disappointing for me. I liked in the previous part that they wanted to make Kratos more humanistic in terms of relationships. That’s good evolution. But the second part is a true hapoy ending about family. Like fast&furious. To be honest I though since the series became more mature, I would see more mature plot and ending. they had a lot of options and they picked most “marvel”-like one: one true villain and everyone else is not bad people actually, and they all good and family and happiness.
Good improvement of the content quantity and quantity. For instance there are whole regions which are 100% option, yet filled with content, side quests and interesting points of interests: dragons, flying jellyfish, even the region which is fully opened, when you do the water-quest. Nice job here!
