This game is a solid remake and embodies the experience of a survival horror really well. It's my first contact with Leon and Claire and what more can I say? I just liked them so much. It was really cool to play Claire's campaign after Leon and say: 'oh wait i remember what happens here' and being just more prepared. The second gameplay was faster, but by any means it was less fun.

While it's not fair to compare the RE1 remake with this one, I think the first one has a better ambiance and the ~horror/fearful~ experience, but lacks on the gameplay overall. This game is the opposite: the ambiance and the feeling, being in different locations, it just not grasped that much in comparison with the first entry, but the gameplay and the w/ Mr. X sequences were just on point. The replay factor is here, but I'm fine with the two A playthroughs.

It doesn't end here, however: I really like the soundtrack in this one. All the boss fights soundtracks were soooo good and hyped me up to play them as if it was my last time.

Ada and Sherry were good characters as well, and I got attached to them: mainly because of the interactions with Leon and Claire respectively and furthermore by playing in their perspectives.

And, of course, the graphics are the cherry at the top. Definitely upgraded the experience to another level.
