"Hey Ben what happened in tiananmen square"
"No"

How a remake should be made. Fixing issues from the original and adding new content while retaining the heart and soul of the game it's remaking.

Persona 3 was already one of my favorite games of all time when I played FES years ago, flaws and all. So when rumors were floating about a potential P3 remake was in the works, I couldn't help but be excited as Atlus could fix the problems I had with FES on the PS2.

Reload quickly became my most anticipated release for 2024 and when it was released in February, I enjoyed every minute of it. It felt like I was playing P3 for the first time all over again.

The new voice cast is absolutely fantastic and is on par with the OG cast, even if I slightly prefer the OGs due to my nostalgia. The gameplay improvements were greatly needed if Persona 3 was going to be brought up to modern standards and Atlus didn't disappoint. Adding Baton Pass from P5 + Theurgys and a party member rebalance was much appreciated even if Akihiko took a massive hit in Reload.

Even with all of the fancy graphics, new voice cast, QOL and gameplay improvements, at its core, it's still Persona 3, that same incredible game back on the PS2. It holds to today's modern standards beautifully and will continue to do so for years to come.

Kurisu and Rimi are awesome but its very much mid

So I will say, if you are going into this game expecting a more emotional response like Steins;Gate or Chaos;Child... you probably are not finding that here.

But damn the actual story itself is wild, and its obvious that EVERYTHING in this series has been leading up to this. There's even a plot point that makes me think about how I view the SciADV titles before it.

Its not perfect, there's a few annoying characters like Wind and Juno, but the others definitely make up for it. Love Pollon, Cross, Tengen, ect. Momo's a little weak but I love what they did with her story regardless.

Music's great, they go WILD with the irl conspiracies and tying them into the plot, hacking trigger is a great gameplay mechanic too. Leads to some great moments later on.

Just bravo, another great entry into this series. Its not my favorite overall but I definitely love the way it turned out. So close to being the top tier material, sooooo so close. I just wish I cared about the characters more, because its the only thing kind of holding this one back. Its more plot driven than the others, less character driven.

they really were the yakuza four.......

Not sure what to think on this one, best gameplay in the series, amazing soundtrack in some areas, some of the best moments in the series too. However, I really wish the game had stronger ties to 1 and 2 for a so-called 'finale to the klaus story arc', at that, this game greatly disappointed me.

13 Sentinels:Aegis Rim is an amazing game, one of the best narrative expierences i’ve had in a game.
It follows 13 protagonists each intertwined in one connected story(it sounds confusing but it’ll all make sense as you play) and has fast paced RTS gameplay, as someone who isn’t a fan of RTS games i had a lot of fun with it.
The soundtrack is amazing, and there’s a lot to love about this game.
If you own a PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5, please give this game a chance it is truly something special.
