This one is hard to review.
First, I didn't understand what it was all about. I felt it was the most overhyped game of all time.
I love old school Zelda games from my childhood but I felt like this one had no taste, no story, gameplay was lame and the open world was boring.
Worse, I felt like the game was following Ubisoft open world recipe with the towers, points of interests on the map etc.

So I played on and off for months. And months became years. I reached half of the game and shelved it because I had no fun.

Then I played Mario Odyssey, this game is all about what I call light exploration. No dialogue, no npc, no quest, just looking for moons everywhere in the level. I love it. And I decided to try again botw exactly like I was playing Mario.

So I started to walk around without any purpose. Found some korok seeds, completed many shrines, exploring the forest, the mountain etc.
Before I even knew I reached the end of the game and explored most of the map.
This is the good way to approach this game.

Still, it is very overhyped. And not as good as the whole world is saying. But it is still a good game.
The story and storyteller is awful though.
