me and my friends were playing uno, one of our friends left and we're new to the game so we didn't think strangers could just randomly show up. we just thought the bots would take their place and nothing else. WELL we were surprised to learn that through someone with the username butthoks strangers CAN show up. uno is absolute chaos as is but i don't think anything could ever top that level of chaos
surprisingly this didn't irritate me as much as i thought it would? if you follow a guidebook or take advantage of the save slots on the emulator/use cheats if you can, it's a lot more tolerable. even mt itoi doesn't feel obnoxious (for the most part) if you know how to handle it. but the constant enemy encounters SUCK. the gigue battle also seemed really cheesy

did the horrifying locked room scenario A LOT better than euphoria, personally. i think it also exhibited the consequences of some choices pretty well. the characters friendship was really sweet and i loved the true ending. i would say one of the only bad things (outside from the noncon) was the fact this was pretty short?

i wanted to like this pokemon game and give it a chance, i really did. call me a pokemon boomer here but i really dislike how easy this game was and how there were barely any challenges. the only challenge to me was tackling fairy pokemon with a team that didn't have critical attacks for that type. it especially shocked me because i just finished pokemon black which has the hardest elite four known to man. the new mega evolution mechanic kinda felt like a cheat. at least in sword and shield every gym leader uses it, but in x and y no gym leaders use it. only lysandre and the champion. so you can pretty much bs your way through the game even more.
even outside of the gameplay, the plot is very boring and the whole environmental focus was 'HEY LOOK WE HAVE ~CLOTHES~ AND ~HAIRSTYLES~ NOW!!' like, it's cool at first but when you hear team flare go off for the billionth time about their fashion sense you're just like 'okay we get it now'.
basically this isn't a pokemon game that i'd replay again. the only good things are the bond the player has with their friend group, professor sycamore, and lastly my son clemont

this was such a morbid yet rather fascinating point and click, i found it intriguing how all the characters have endured trauma and have committed grave mistakes in their lives. yet despite this, they are encouraged to take the path to repentance (even if this person was a nazi who experimented on innocent jewish people for example). however, with this route to repentance they have to do things almost just as gruesome at times.
overall, the game is rather grimdark, and by the looks of it, there's not a proper happy ending. i loved this so much, especially since i'm weak for dystopias and psychology. the only downside is that sometimes you really have to exhaust options in order to progress with the game without screwing yourself over and sometimes things can be very vague. it took me awhile of searching around to figure out that you have to get one of the other characters to turn on the projector in the end game so benny can give his wife the totem of love. but at the same time, i guess this is also something that adds to the charm?
this game is also based off a short story and now after beating this game i just might read it and compare similarities and differences.
