god the controls are horrible. even if you are winning it's not good that you have to depend on drifting in order to be first. even then you can't heavily depend on it or else it fucks you over.

if you wanna play a retro sonic racing game PLEASE play sonic r it's programmed a lot better than this

a visually charming video game, i enjoy the art style of the 'clay' graphics and games that the company attempted. the characters for this game are pretty fun looking as well. sadly, the controls are a little clunky and the computers can be brutal. though i don't know if this is because i suck at fighting games, or that's just how it really is.

it was so hard to pick up presents and throw them bro

at this point i'm only playing it so i can attempt to get $200 on some survey site. this game feels so rigged

probably one of the only games where the platforming aspect is harder than the boss fights

had potential to be a better knuckles chaotix

it's a creative expansion to the title, using rng/lottery as a way to attack but it can get really annoying at times. that's the main reason why i can't like the game too much

the art is cute and charming for the rance series, some of the music is fun too. albeit it doesn't fit the rance series personally.

the battle system gets better here because you can actually make the characters attack rather than it being a set up with the cpu, however, this game does have its drawbacks. they seem to make you withdraw from the dungeon at a certain time in game (8pm) which is ridiculous. perhaps it was to invoke a sense of realism? but it only makes things rather irksome.
oddly enough, monsters seem tougher to battle in this game in some cases.

i do like the amazing pixel art, which was very prevalent during the later 90's during the pc-98 era. i also kind of like how the game encourages you to go back to town with random events and things to do. kudos for them having an enemy named bitch

its incredible to me how i can play this game so many times yet never get sick of it. similar to um jammer lammy it has a weird input system though

the gameplay is an improvement compared to the second. lots of ridiculous moments, but it doesn't take away the seriousness of the plot. though the walking system can be a pain at times if you're not adjusted to it. it also took forever for me to figure out how to camp anywhere (it might just be a me thing realized it was right on the swords eye).

pretty charming and you can really begin to tell how passionate alicesoft is over this series and it makes a pretty solid jrpg for the time. though good luck recommending this to anyone without getting weird stares LOL

overall has a better fighting system and mechanics compared to the previous, but it still has its flaws. it gets annoying how long boss battles can be sometimes and it would be a little better if you could choose how your other party members attacked (though i have a feeling they fix this in future games).

the plot takes itself a little more serious in this game, which i appreciate.
also probably the only game where you have a 41-some

this game is tedious to play without a walkthrough, also exploring the map can get annoying if you're not used to it. i feel like the plot doesn't take itself too seriously at all and there really isn't too much except that you're some guy who SA's girls... i'll keep playing however because i hear the games get a little better.

dr wily goes to jail and eventually breaks free with key man, who he built from random objects in prison

my favorite retro mega man game to date. the level set up is pretty fun for the most part, i also like some of the enemies and think they're rather creative (the hen and the train guy for example). also gotta love how a bird can literally save the world

kinda too easy, but it had its moments. love how you can tell this was definitely made around the cold war era because they decided to make it seem like the ussr (more specifically russia at the time) was your big enemy
