Not just a gimmick. This game has a compelling story and wonderful atmosphere

This was a lot of fun and I enjoyed the story quite a bit. I liked the focus on the Guardians as a team both in gameplay and story. I almost stopped playing early on because the combat was really frustrating and repetitive, but it gets a lot better once you're leveled up a bit and have unlocked some abilities

It's a better introduction to some main characters than the main game but the actual plotline seems very inconsequential. It's super short and free though so you're not losing much if you play it and don't like it

I bought this game because it was on sale and now my eyes hurt from trying to keep them open while sobbing

Overall a really compelling story but with an abrupt and underwhelming ending

I waited on it because of the talk of all the bugs. Picked it up it went on sale this year and I'm glad I did. It's still got some bugs but nothing game-breaking (played on PC). The story and atmosphere are top notch. Well worth it.

possibly the only licensed game that was better than the movie it was based on??
