I had the opportunity to play the first game of the series before, and this was my first and only experience with the series (Not counting the gears tactics). Not much has been put on it, but they have managed to preserve a structure that makes the game boring with different mechanics in places. But I can't say the same for the characters and the story. There is a soullessness in all the characters, especially our main character, and that includes Marcus. Everything in the game works fine but they are boring. Weapons are disappointing for a game that only draws its fun from third-person shooters, due to the odd difficulty of finding ammo for those other than Lancer, and the tightness of gameplay. Overall, I'm not bored, but I can't say I want to play another Gears game.

When I played God of War 2018, I wished I had started this series with the first games first. Now I have a chance to start and I wish I had finished this series from start to finish before playing God of War 2018. It is a game that drags with its action and story that does not make you feel the years that have passed. Although the platform parts are sometimes frustrating due to the camera being fixed, I don't remember being stuck in general. I recommend you to play the HD version for those who will play.

It was very similar to the previous game, but continued with almost the same quality. A few new mechanics and weapons have been added, apart from the scarcity of cutscenes and the ones we rarely see our main character. I generally liked it.
