Fun rush of bosses. But... How much of this game is pushing boxes? Too much, I say. And the bosses towards the end still don't push things in too creative a way. Combat still shines, even if it could do with another layer of complexity at a point -- perhaps more internal variety.

Maybe dragging on a bit but still a lot of fun. May not be able to finish it tomorrow and want to :/

Some really annoying backtracking and a persistent issue with signposting major objectives but…

Yeah, this is great. Combat has properly properly clicked now. You can find variety and rhythm in it and dungeons are well paced. Puzzles and traversal are very good.

Do not like the writing.

The grapple hook is awesome and it shouldn’t have taken this many hours to get to the grapple hook.

More grapple hooks in games. All games.

Couple of fun dungeons done, new cool locale. Getting actually into the combat but it is very much the same thing every time — story and world, or characters, a nothing for me so the repetition does sting.

Good enough loop, though, and some satisfying level design. Maybe I like this.

Thought I’d give this another chance. Starting to click a bit more.

Played through a dungeon and beat a boss.

I'm just not that compelled by this. Combat is a bit of a chore; good ideas that don't fit together into a good overall sustem.

Picked this up again. Combat is fun. It is indeed. Snappy, I say. Snappy indeed.

A slog of an opening. Typical turn based RPG start: couple of quick fights in sky island locale. Then, as you get to a rest point, a random flashback that is a very lengthy and over expository section. It is a drawn out tutorial and eventually you randomly get back to the present day in a way that makes starting at that point feel pointless. Just being at the start!

The combat seems cool, though. I'm finding it tough getting used to the twitch elements, but when you have visual feedback on (why it can be off, I don't know), it's more forgiving than you think.

This is promising.
