Overdose is very much a case of one step forward two steps back. Gameplay takes a massive overhaul being a lot more frantic than the previous game and to compensate for that they give Grave more mobile movement and some additional moves. You're constantly in a loop of running, dodging, and shooting to build up your beat in order to use a destruction bullet which is now the only means to recover health along with regenerating your shield at a much faster pace. Unfortunately almost every other aspect of the game takes a downgrade. The sleek cel shading is now gone, cutscenes are presented mostly in a comic style format with only characters chatting, the somber tone and story is ditched in favor of a more generic 2000s action anime. Music? What music? Almost every stage is dead silent outside the sound of gunfire. Pacing also takes a turn for the worse as they tried to stretch what was a solid two hour game into a six-eight hour one so some levels really overstay their welcome. Still overall it's a pretty fun time though outside of gameplay is a disappointment compared to the original.

When Shrek threatened to rape me within the first minute I finally felt genuine terror in a video game.

It's awful but I give it half a star for letting you play a giant Serizawa destroying the city while carrying the oxygen destroyer in his hands.

In an era where almost every game feels extremely bloated to get that 50 hour play time it's really nice to go back to something that's short but oh so sweet. Gungrave is an action packed ride of pure spectacle that doesn't overstay its welcome which took me about two hours to beat on my first try.

Never thought a bunch of Atari 2600 looking ass trees would feel me with complete dread but man did this game manage to accomplish that.

This game is so amazing it made me remember I even had a backloggd account. Buy it or else your a terd.

It's kinda fun until the novelty of kicking kids wears off.

CotM is so so close to being a good game but it's held back by the ludicrous amount of health and damage enemies have taking what could've been a challenging entry into the realm of tedium.

Two missions in and I got to shoot a sovereign citizen in the face with a shotgun. Pretty promising start if you ask me.

Probably my favorite Godzilla game out there. While the Pipeworks games are fun they're more akin to a party brawler with a Godzilla skin, not a bad thing but also not the best representation of Godzilla in video game form. What makes Godzilla on PS4 exceed other attempts at Godzilla games is its attention to detail long time fans will glimpse and slow heavy controls that nail the feeling of being a giant monster lumbering through Tokyo. The only downside for me is the repetitive mission structure as most levels revolve around destroying generators but it's a minor gripe for me because once you're done you get to fight another giant monster and that is always a blast.

This game rocks. Loads of content, fantastic art design, tough but fair level design, and an incredible soundtrack by Zuntata as always. It ain't no Darius Gaiden but it's still a fantastic time.

The first Jurassic Park on the Genesis was a rather interest but frustrating attempt at making a survival/platformer. Rampage Edition was Blue Sky's attempt at listening to the complaints people had of the first game and following it up with a more action based side scroller where Grant does wicked cool stuff like riding a raptor while holding a machine gun shooting down other dinosaurs and mercenaries.

Now I know what the world was like through my schizophrenic step brother's eyes. Thank you video games.

Very solid bemani game and serves as decent competition with DJmax. Biggest thing preventing me from recommending it to anyone is it's stuck with always online DRM.

This is a terrible game but a fun one to experience. It both serves as an amazing time capsule during that period right after 9/11 where every American wanted the middle east nuked without remorse and the casual racism of that time. The second mission has you fighting terrorists in an "urban" neighborhood where every bad guy is a shirtless African American spotting a huge afro wearing a gold medallion while generic hip hop music plays in the background.
