this game must be for "WEED" smokers because everything in this game is so god damn slow!! i have to admit the writing and music and atmosphere are very good and if you can get over that first problem you'll probably really like this game but sadly i did not get over it. i know its supposed to be about taking in the atmosphere but im just not the kind of person to sit and admire ps1 (or really any) video game environments for minutes on end

for what it's worth i'm someone who values their time a lot to the point of skipping any long games and i adored moon for its slowness

i wasn't really taking in the atmosphere so much as just treating it more like a strategic game of planning out my time and doing what i can to help everyone

yeah i mean honestly the base idea and concept of the game is very good and i did enjoy myself the first few hours, i just personally got irritated as the game went on as i kept having to slowly walk back and forth to different areas in the game and as i kept running into stuff that was time-gated. stuff like the firework (where if you miss it you've gotta either sit there and wait for like 8 minutes, or risk missing it again). i think it's a game that works a lot better if you are able to switch priorities back and forth very easily, but i'm just the sort of person who will get an objective or goal and want to complete that before doing something else. i did try keeping a doc of important notes/things i could do/what days they're available on but it kinda fell apart pretty quickly, definitely something i'd recommend trying for others though
