certainly pretty good but it wasn't perfect. gameplay is clunky, and i think the story could have worked a bit better had we seen eddie and angela more than a couple times throughout the story, and had we seen even just a bit about mary prior to the end of the first level. the combat's not great either and most fights are easy enough (i played on normal combat difficulty if that means anything) that there isn't a ton of tension in them. overall i don't think the game was really all that scary but it's very very fun to analyze and think about after you've played it so if you take joy in watching hour long video essays on youtube you've come to the right game
