Dead serious when I say this is the most interesting and compelling competitive scene in any fighting game in my opinion, so many genuinely fantastical stories to tell whether it be the single Yoshi player that raised the character up, like, 10 tiers, who just recently won a damn supermajor with the character, or just the concept of the Five Gods, or fucking Salty Suite!!

I got to live through this game's era! I was there! I watched the tournaments live, I cheered for these people! I got to watch as 95% of them were outed as absolute scum by the time the next game came out!

i like the speedrun history for this game because i'm in it teehee

TF2 is just a historical piece alone at this point, it's my most played game on Steam for a reason. I miss having fun in Casual, I miss being able to queue up for any map other than 2Fort and playing against actual people, hell, any players at all. I miss Team Fortress 2.

I've been following this game since the beginning and it's been a lot of fun* watching it grow and seeing the modding community learn and do all sorts of new things, even if it's sorta died down over the last year or so.
