I respect the struggle in making a videogame which its whole world comes by existence on trying to upset your ideals. Unfortunely I just don't care for none of it because it don't reveal anything to me.
When movie directors make stupid male characters they want you to hate, they often end up commiting the mistake of dedicating a whole movie for them and having a bunch of idiots cheering for their actions instead of finding it disgusting, so Kim is there to make up for that incase you didn't notice Harry is this shitty male character and then contrast with your ego by telling you if you screwed up and said some dumb shit. The problem with this, and for the whole game that is premeditated on this same form of didactic movement, is that this really removes really freeing and less safe situations for the character and player by offering obvious, predictable and instantaneous responses to what you do instead of exploring these feelings naturally and kinda ends up creating a dichotomy between "staying closer to who you are as a player" and "uncovering Harrier DuBois" which never walks side by side since one advances independently of the other (This plays especially awful when you just want to say dumb and gross shit for laughs (This game really has no idea of fun lmfao)). Part of the reason is because most of what is the game is actually rushed and so it can't really be proper nuanced toward everything, opts then for an easier route. Another two things I dislike is that its also really ugly when is not showing its beauty directly at your face (I'm aware that the world of Disco is supposed to be this aftermath kinda thing but the lifelessness of the cheap writing for the people of these places and how the game fails to understand they are the ones that gives those place a proper sense of world really annoys the hell out of me and makes me unable to connect to the actual good minutae that appears in these places when its paired with its sense of humor). The other being this really boring corny attempt at trying to offer something to chew other than its whole, like the whole Harry/Jean homossexual tension. Please just make characters experience things already, its not 1800s anymore and I do not care for fanfics or tumblr art.

Stupid shit.
