Amazing game, one of those ones everyone should try

just an incredibly satisfying game to play and beat. i never thought a boss-rush bullet hell would be my kinda thing, but it is very much my kinda thing. also, it has an all-timer soundtrack.

one of the best and most refreshing gaming experiences I've ever had and i still have to do new game plus and get all the endings!

This game rules. Having the freedom to constantly change up your build and create all sorts of ridiculous mech combinations is super fun and keeps combat feeling fresh. I built a pink tank named "war fucker," a reverse-joint chainsaw assassin named "buster billy" and a flying tetrapod with two gatling guns named "absolute blastard."

My biggest disappointment with AC6 was honestly the difficulty - I was pretty underwhelmed. I cleared almost every mission and arena battle on the first or second try, and rarely felt the need to seriously switch up my build to keep up with a demanding boss or wave of enemies (outside of the Balteus fights, which are both fantastic). I've heard there are some tougher fights in NG+, so I'm hoping to check those out at some point.

While I didn't really know what to expect from the game's writing, it ended up becoming my favorite part about AC6. Even though the story is told almost entirely through mission briefings and voice comms, I got really immersed in the whole vibe. The game builds a cast of really endearing characters, hits you with incredible set pieces and forces you to make major story decisions that genuinely had me on edge. I've never really been into mech stuff before, but this game is rad as hell.

I want to start this off with a statement: it's not the best Armored Core game, not by a long shot imo...Yet it's easily one of my favourite ones, as well as one of my favourite Fromsoft games to date.

That's because Fires of Rubicon not only aims to be an entry point for newcomers of the franchise, not only is a return to form for one of the most important franchises for this insane software house, but it's a statement of caring about what made From Software the studio it is today, while welcoming all the progress and experience they made through time.

If you look in the dev team you'll immediately notice how it's a group made of very talented newcomers along with older figures who worked on several entries in the franchise, which only strengthens my point. Love for its past, and understanding for the progress it has been made.

The game itself simplifies a lot the formula from past entries: no optional parts, no tuning, no radiator, no inside, no extensions, no hanger units, a lot of stuff is missing. This is an absolutely intended choice, because everyone who's not used to these games can very easily become overwhelmed with the amount of stuff you have to understand before making your mech; this might be a low ball for vets of the series, but personally I'm okay with it.

Because the combat is so good I could play this forever, while not getting tired at all.

In one week I clocked 50 hours which included:
-All the routes
-All the achievements (which include all battle logs, all secret chests, all S-rank missions and of course all parts bought)
-Some PvP with friends

I really thought I'd be burnt out after all of this but...I really was left wanting MORE, this was like that one fine dish that just hit the spot for you so good that, even though you ate so much, you couldn't help yourself but keep going and, once you finished, with a grown ass belly, you just go "oh, man, I'd really like some more". For reference I still run some bosses just because I want to have an excuse to play more of it (yeah, surprise to no one, ACVI has the best bosses in the franchise so far).

What I also couldn't get enough of is the INSANE art direction, it's so good it's unfair it makes me mad for how good it is; also the characters are some of the absolute best Fromsoft has ever pulled out, with Rusty being someone I wish was real and with me and telling me everything's gonna be okay.

It's been a very long journey, I'm so happy I chose to play most of the franchise, but the last thing I expected was this:

I want more Armored Core.

some of the questions were hard (so was I)

idk what's worse, me playing this game or me having to look up a guide because of some of the questions

Sex 2

sadly, does not live up to the wait nor to the original sex

the one game you can't pirate

Phenomenal. One of my all time favs just thus far. BUT I have to suspend my full review until the game is finished. (Still leaving it installed for fun runs, but the story matters a lot to me so I'd rather just wait for the story to be finished)

Bullet hell roguelite with fun mechanics and a charming coat of paint. The game is good at encouraging you to keep playing, and I do indeed intend to keep playing.

This game has such a strong core gameplay idea that the phenomenal use of roguelike elements in the story mode combines to make a consistently enjoyable and infinetly replayable game.

While I wasn't really hooked by the story or the strange semi-nude character designs (I censored them for recording purposes), Void Rains is a fantastic bullet hell roguelike, and manages to keep fights feeling unique thanks to tons of different modes, bosses and difficulty scalings. The early hours can feel a bit obscured and repetitive since most of the game's content (including the ability to see what power-ups a boss will drop or what it's weak to) has to be incrementally unlocked through playing, but it's nothing that would stop me from recommending it. The amount of passion and content here is incredibly inspiring considering it's a solo dev project as well!

its hard, but thats what makes it really fun, especially if you're playing with other people. even if you're playing w someone or others that are bad at dst, honestly i think it makes it more fun bc you're stressing out so much it makes you laugh #Smile but once you get the hang of it, it's not bad at all.. (i'm too scared to get to winter by myself though. i'm not THAT good at it......)
every time you replay it it's a completely different experience no matter what & i think thats what makes it super enjoyable bc you always have something to look forward to. it's a simple concept of trying to survive for as long as possible, & i think it's executed pretty well
