Death Road to Canada. There was another roadtrip roguelite apocalypse survival game, it had that low poly indie look and it was a tactical RPG, but I can't remember the name. Sam and Max Hit the Road isn't quite it but it always gave me major roadtrip vibes with all the tourist attractions and gas stations you go to, the creator said that sort of experience as a kid inspired a lot of that first game and the comics.
