Somehow, against the laws of the universe, in the year of our lord and savior 2023, Sonic Team and Arzest did the unthinkable.

They made a tolerable 2D Sonic Game 5 years after Mania came out.

The first few zones start out strong, but as you sink your teeth into the game, the quality of the level design and even music lowers to the point that you may start thinking that they spent 90% of the budget in the first two zones and also the character animation which is pretty damn good.

But hey! At least they didn't fuck up the physics like in Sonic 4 am i right? I'm tired.
