The NES version of this is pretty interesting for its time, they tried to add some more depth with those mechanics like the "Foot Power" (yeah, I discovered this game on the AVGN) and stuff. Unfortunately, hardware and deadline limitations might've limited the original ideas. The "correction" hack on the internet made it mode bearable.

I just wish it was made on a more powerful hardware or someone remade this one or took some of its ideas and execute them better

Some funny monologues at the start of the levels by John Mcclane doesn't excuse the repetitive visuals and illogical decisions (why can't John just walk back instead of only being able to move forward in one of the first building levels? It feels arbitrary since other maze levels in the game allow free exploration)
