An expansion for F-Zero X

An expansion disk released for the 64DD peripheral that adds multiple additional features when connected to the base game: - 12 new and more difficult courses in 2 new cups, DD-1 and DD-2, as well as an edited cup option. - A course editor, with 100 save slots, similar to the developer tool used to make the game's courses. - A vehicle editor, with 100 save slots, allowed front, rear and wing parts to be combined with different parameters to balance performance - Expanded time attack ghost feature, 3 available for each course - New music tracks and changed audio from mono to stereo - Some of the characters had new higher performance machines available Player created data could be shared/imported but without mouse or online support it was difficult to use. Character portraits might have been editable by swapping data with the Mario Artist 64DD games.

Why are the new cups so fucking hard holy shit

This pretty much adds 2 new cups and a track editor to F-Zero X. The track editor is actually really in depth albeit a bit confusing to learn at first, but you can make some really cool and some really evil things with it. The new cups are brutally difficult, expect crazy jumps, sharp turns, and extremely narrow roads with no railings. The difficulty spike is insane so I'd really only recommend the most learned of F-zero X players try out the new content. I wouldn't say this makes the original game obsolete but the new content is very cool and it sucks we didn't get this on NSO or something

It's a crime that this hasn't been rereleased in any form. This takes an already-great game and propels it to new heights. The two new grand prixes contain amazing and challenging tracks. The track creator is probably is the best in video game history.
