Mii Force is a side-scrolling shoot 'em up game developed by Good-Feel. The game revolves around the Mii Force, led by the player, as they battle against the evil Gold Bone Gang. Players traverse each level blasting through enemies and recovering Miis encountered on StreetPass, who each provide unique weaponry based on their color. Miis are arranged on a grid of three forward facing weapons and one rear weapon, which can be rotated to shoot in multiple directions, with additional Miis powering up the main weapons when placed behind them on the grid. If the player is hit, one of the Miis will be forced to retreat, and the game ends if the player loses all of their Miis. After completing the main campaign, players unlock Arcade mode, which tasks players with clearing the campaign on one run. The game also features leaderboards, encouraging players to beat scores set by people encountered on StreetPass.

weird game where it doesn't have enough to be a full game, but is too fleshed out and long to be a streetpass game

It's a solid game in the style of classic arcade games like Galaga. The color shirts of the Miis you bring with you changes your weapon, each one having a different effect and you can increase said effects for longer range and damage. Pretty fun overall, maybe it could have used and extra world or two.

Long live StreetPass. One of the better games in this wave of Mii Plaza additions because color loadout didn't get in the way too much. Would be a decent shmup in its own right!

streetpass does star trek and it's good for some reason

They made a shmup for streetpass mii plaza for some reason. The game isn't really anything special or mindblowing. My only real problem with it is the fact that with how frequently streetpasses used to happen plus the seer number of streetpass games this games levels are just too long to work well. With streetpass I just wanna check my guys, get the stuff for the game, and be done, and this requires you to play a shmup level every time you streetpass someone new and that's kinda lame
