played with C_F. It's mindless, but it has a lot of drop-dead gorgeous segments, enemies and cutscenes to justify the trip

Es un juego divertido para pasar un buen rato

Art is super sick; deep shadows on the character sprites reminds me of an 70s Marvel/Jack Kirby energy. Crazy ninja katana bifurcation time travel action holds up, ya know?

I played the first Sengoku yesterday and it was flawed but enjoyable and I was hoping the sequels would improve on what I liked and thankfully this one delivers a very fun experience.

This game fixes some of the issues I had before like the movement speed though it's a bit slow still and grabbing orbs no longer is a pain anymore though the game does give them out less often. They even made the forms you can turn into more cool. Though only the dog form stayed which is fine because I like it.

This game also adds some new mechanics like blocking and even has these sections where you ride a horse though they are nowhere near as cool as something like the horse riding level in Super Shinobi II. Now the game isn't perfect because sometimes blocking isn't really that good and the form with the tengu form can be pretty broken, he makes some enemies a joke. The game also for some reason only has 4 stages which is a shame, I would have liked at least one more stage.

This is still a great step up from the last game which I appreciate. While still far from perfect, this is a game I could see myself coming too and like before you can bring a friend with you. I think playing this now, I can say you can skip the first game and go play this one instead. You'll have a fun time, hopefully 3 improves on the game even further.

In terms of actual gameplay it's fairly simplistic and a little sluggish, definitely behind the curve for the time, but as far as the environments and just Cool Shit Happening quotient go this might be one of the GOATs
