A more-ish puzzle battler, a match-3 variant in the style of columns, but with a smart system of unlocking squares to create chain reactions, similar but with an extra layer of strategy on Puyo-Puyo etc? My favourite of the early psx releases (a launch title in Japan?!), and where a lack of Japanese doesn't harm the experience much.

Taisen Puzzle Dama but Twinbee flavored. Honestly gives the most characterization to the twinbee world out of all the games, even if it's just through puyo-puyo esque pre-battle quips. This was actually my first time playing any games in the puzzle dama series (and I guess I should get aquainted if I ever want to play through the tokimeki memorial series) and it's a solid little vs. puzzle game. Unlike something like puzzle fighter or panel de pon where ya pretty much need an entirely new skillset to get good at, I was able to use my puyo knowledge to grasp how to chain combos somewhat effectively here. They even included the original arcade taisen puzzle dama in here as well which is pretty neat. This is the first twinbee game I've played so far to allow me to play as madoka, so that's based in its own right.
