A lovely story about a kind-hearted handyman falling in love with his non-binary underwater alien best friend.

This thing really spoke to me, especially in the first 2/3rds, where you’re basically playing a slice of life Wes Anderson stop motion film. Harold Halibut is one of the more endearing characters I’ve had the pleasure to inhabit. Didn’t love the more on-rails climax but the story concluded very satisfyingly.

If I have one nitpick, it’s probably that some of the other characters sometimes read their dialogue like it was a first pass sight-read with no added direction. Most of the time the characters are pitched exactly to the tone it’s reaching for.
