Not having a community around this game is kind of big suck, there was some rumblings about it in my local area but it never got off the ground before COVID unfortunately. Even then, this is PS2-era ASW, so you'll have to dedicate some pretty serious lab time to just make some headwater here, doubly so because of how oppressive the offense in this game can be. Still, practicing and hitting dribble combos is very fun, getting a solid two-touch on the arcade AI is a good time, and this game is based on one of the most aesthetically unique shonens out there, so it's all great fun. I mean, sure, it's Mad Max Martial Arts if you're uncultured, but did Mad Max have the audacity to try and fit a Jesus Figure in Toki, Mr. Masculinity Incarnate in Raoh, and the ultimate joke character in Jagi all in the same narrative? Didn't think so.

Total kusoge, but super pretty and full of fanservice moments slavishly-recreated for the hell of it, really. For certain anime licenses this is the absolute best you could ask for. Mr Heart, a blink-and-you'll-miss-him mook, is playable.

game increased my testosterone level the moment i opened it

hypest it's ever been. there is no reason to money match this game, but it remains the absolute sickest. audio design is horribly loud like +R and SBX. virtually every character is capable of killing off of one touch. bottom tiers are the worst ever, and top tiers are the best ever.

this game was hype enough to make me sit through the entirety of Hokuto No Ken, a show notorious for being the forefather of Shounen Filler where it's just protag goes to town to beat up a nameless throwaway baddie to put off the actual plot for #sales. i appreciated it and am attached to it even throughout its obvious flaws, mostly because HNK (arcade) was such a cool final realization of the show's actiony elements.

king of shitty fighting games. never to be dethroned. it will never be more hype than HnK.

the smell of old niconico vids

Generic anime game... again. The graphics and sprite works in this game are amazing. Even the stages are creative, specially Jagi and Mamiya village, but the game itself.... oh man, awful. Very basic repetitive combos, which makes very easy to do inifinte combos and is also unbalanced. Not a good game.

Awesome game. Excellent spritework and meaty hits combined with HnK's natural coolness just makes for a really good fanservice-y experience.

You like Hokuto No Ken? Play this. Its balance is busted as fuck but you will have a fun time and love the fan service.

The time of retribution...

DECIDE THE DESTINY

One, If not the most broken fighting game that I ever seen. And I love it.
Its Hokuto No Ken in all his glory, with all the attacks, reference and a pretty solid roster of characters. ArcSystemWorks always deliver good fighting experiences... But this time is a little different, the balance and glitches make the game scale to another level in terms of mechanics, every character have his own broken things (ESPECIALLY TWO OF THEM) and the graphics are as beautiful as always ArcSys has delivered. I recommend the game of you want to experience and crazy fighting game that has nothing to envy at games like Marvel Vs Capcom or FighterZ.

FATAL K.O. Hype em forma de música toca

how the fuck is this real lmfao

whoever randomly told you that this game is dope is right.

The moves are weird and inputs are painful. It feels like it doesn't want me to play it. The AI is cheap. And the balance is non existent.
But man if this game isn't fun. The fan service more than makes up for most of my complainants.

God damn this game is fun. Balanced terribly but everything else is awesome. Beautiful sprite art, awesome music and the combat is really fun to mess around with. Every fighting game fan needs to check this one out.

if fighting games are like pro wrestlers, this is kurt angle cutting the "bestiality sex" promo

Rating it a bit higher than I should purely as an enjoyer of both Arc Sys and FOTNS
