To many this is the best game out of the entire Kingodm Hearts series, and to be fair there's a lot going for this game. As with many Square Enix games, they always deliver when it comes to music & overall aesthetics, especially when compared to KH1 & other Final Fantasy titles. The gameplay is greatly improved upon over Kingdom Hearts 1 in almost every regard: camera, movement, combat, platforming; everything that was good is better and everything that was bad is pretty much fixed. With that being said, this is where the story begins to take a nosedive in every direction. I personally skip all the cutscenses just to enjoy gameplay, which while great is very slow to pickup in the beginning due to the Roxas portion of the game. Without skipping cutscenes, it's going to take a long time for the gameplay to come together into something really enjoyable.

Tudo, TUDO nesse jogo é uma evolução do primeiro. É assim que se faz uma sequência. A gameplay foi expandida e aperfeiçoada, e está divertidíssima, várias mecânicas como as Drive Forms, os Reaction Commands, e por aí vai. A gameplay é tão divertida que fez eu ficar com 50 horas do jogo e não o achar chato em nenhum momento (mesmo eu estando jogando ele pela segunda vez), até nos momentos em que estava farmando as Drive Forms, ou pegando a Ultima Weapon.
Falando sobre a história, também é muito melhor que a do primeiro, embora a do primeiro não seja ruim. Nomura já tinha se superado escrevendo Chain of Memories e 358/2 Days, e aqui tudo termina nesse jogo. (Sim eu sei que Days saiu depois do 2, mas joguei ele antes e prefiro nessa ordem.)
Depois de zerar o jogo ele também continua com muitas coisas divertidas para fazer, armas pra pegar, e bosses secretos pra enfrentar, tais como o Lingering Will e o Sephiroth.
Eu matei o Sephiroth e se deus quiser algum dia eu mato o Lingering Will. Falo o mesmo das data-battles, também. Mas por enquanto é isso, experiência incrivelmente divertida 9/10

Meu carinho pela franquia Kingdom Hearts é muito grande. E o segundo jogo, aproveitado de forma definitiva em sua versão Final Mix, é especial demais pra mim. Uma das coisas mais importantes que esse jogo ressalta é o conceito de amizade. Kingdom Hearts é uma obra sobre o amor entre amigos e a profundidade desse sentimento, tudo no jogo gira em torno desse aspecto e por isso e também por ser um excelente jogo, ele é um dos que mais tenho boas memórias.
Meu jogo favorito da infância, lembrarei pra sempre dessa maravilhosa aventura.

The original Kingdom Hearts II came out during a time when the plot of Kingdom Hearts was goofy but still mostly coherent. When the Final mix version was finally released in the US, I immediately purchased it.

I find myself returning to this game time and time again for a multitude of reasons. The characters are charming, and the music is absolutely sublime. But the true star of this game is the combat system. Few games can boast combat systems that are as approachable but deep as 2FM's. It is genuinely one of, if not the best combat system in any hack and slash game.

Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix is my favorite video game. To play it, you will need to buy the HD 2.5 Remix collection. It's available for PS3, PS4, and Xbox One. A Microsoft Windows version will be coming to the Epic Games store later this month. Review is as of 03/04/21
