Colonialism propaganda, but its okay because the golf minigame is really damn fun.

This game had some crazy completion requirements, with you having to find and collect all 50 monkeys throughout the game in order to get the true ending. I could never do it as a kid as I, one, didn't have the attention span, and, two, some of said monkeys were extremely well hidden and a pain to obtain. This game was also developed by Toys For Bob, the same studio that would go on to develop Crash Bandicoot 4, a game infamous for its collectables and how much of a nightmare it is to fully complete.
Is Madagascar 2: Escape 2 Africa... a prototype for Crash Bandicoot 4?

The "Citizen Kane" of video games

Miles better than the PS2 version. BY FAR!

I've played this on the ds. This game is really funny and awesome

tem mais minigames legais. o que eu mais gostava era o de golf.

There was this level in a car I believe, that I always always lost, till I realised my Cross button was broken and it never fully pressed.

i dont remember anything about this game

This game is odd...

The PS2-version STRUGGLES SO HARD to run this game consistently. Don't know what went wrong with the optimization but man is this one full with Framedrops and graphical glitches. The mini-games are the same shenanigans as in the first game and are still kinda fun. I know that this is a kids game but I still don't understand how this utterly broken port got a Platinum release. :')

From the little I remember of this game it was pretty janky but I was obsessed with it for a few months as a kid

I have no idea of what's the overall opinion on both of the Madagascar tie-in games, but in my personal experience, I had a better time with the second entry.

From what I recall, this one is more varied than the previous game, also being a platformer but with some minigames included. Honestly, I'm not sure how far I actually got, but I've more memories of it than the previous one.

It's by all means still a cheap and mediocre tie-in, I just happened to enjoy it ever so slightly more than its predecessor. Once again, go for it if you enjoy shovelware.

SCORE: 5/10

que jogo bom. A quantidade de mini jogos me divertia muito. Um otimo sucessor do primeiro e bom madagascar

I remember playing this game when i was a child, i thought this game was so good back then, but now i see that he is not as good as i remembered.

Better version of the prequel but not by much

my favorite part was when they told you to get 100 monkeys, but you could be extremely lazy and get 60.

The Madagascar 2 Wii game is so bland in my opinion, not saying it was mid but it was just mediorce due to the challenges in every level being so useless, the character designs are not that great and of course the minigames being just that bad as it is, i still like the game but i would say the only Pros is that the music is sweet, the gameplay is cool, and the ending is a bit decent.

Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa allows me to achieve my dream of kicking soccer balls as a zebra using the power of the Wii remote.

It's just a bunch of minigames without a story I WAS MAD.

A bunch of mini-games glued together to make a full game. Musical chairs was the shit!

as a kid i loved this shit but it really cannot compete with the first game i think

Life is like a floating river there's no end dive
You don't have to shiver there is a friend
Now throw away your fears
'Cause happiness is here
Let me in your ears
Singing
Break it down get it down like an African
Move your body to my sound like an African
Shout it out very loud like an African
You can dance dance like an African
Oh-ya oh-ya mama Africa
Oh-ya oh-ya mama Africa
Oh-ya oh-ya mama Africa
Oh-ya oh-ya
Wela wela

Donnes tout meme si t'as rien comme un Africain
Viens faire danser tes chagrins comme un Africain
Envoutes-moi de tes mains comme un Africain
Et puis danses danses comme un Africain
Alright
Dans l'ombre tout scintille
Je vois aucune autre fille
Et tout mon coeur vacille
Suis-moi
Break it down get it down (mama Africa)
Move your body to my sound (mama Africa)
Shout it out very loud (mama Africa)
You can dance dance like an African
