fuckin awesome. I’m not much of a big fan for traditional fighters but the tight controls and the over the top mechanics were just so awesome. It’s like every character is overpowered! And the roster was so great too. Mega Man and Morrigan were my mains. This game was so much fun I spent my entire time at the arcade just playing it.
Street fighter on CRACK.
Street fighter on CRACK.
And here we are. Marvel Vs Capcom 1
Mechanically, not all that different from Marvel VS Street Fighter, but the devil really is in the details. The charm factor is on overdrive compared to the previous entries, with the assist system being introduced to cram even more Capcom and Marvel characters than the ones featured in the roster. In the Marvel side of things, a couple new faces were introduced here, but really the Capcom side is where the fanservice really is. Captain Commando, Strider, Jin from Cyberbots, Megaman, etc... so many good picks.
Such a fun game, too bad Onslaught is such a bullshit final boss, kind of spoils the fun of the arcade mode. At least the other extras make up for it.

Marvel vs Capcom feels a bit different from Marvel Super Heroes VS Street Fighter.
For one, the Variable Assist system of that game has been replayed with the ability to call up non-playable characters, such as Arthur, Anita and Juggernaut to assist you temporarily in battle.
There's also the addition of the Duo Team Attack, which allows both characters of your team to be out at once and just fuck shit up!
Because of these two abilities and the fact that not only does this game have a very different roster from last time, but also the devs just went ham on the insanity of the combos you can pull off, it distinguishes itself a lot from its previous two entries, and being just as fun, if not more than those!

The best fighting system for those ages, don't get me wrong but, 3D delay fighting (tekken) it's not my style so this combo system it's one of the perfect combat system for me and not BC it's easy, you can be creative with the combos start the chain with so many ways and that turbo speed fight without delay it's my kind of fighting game style.
