Can't claim to be the greatest fan of MOBA's, but this was genuinely okay for the first week or two. But as ever like most Pokémon or even just Nintendo products, it's released half baked with minimal content and awful loading times. Unite is very unbalanced and unless you have a good core of friends to play with regularly, you'll lose interest quick. Even playing with friends I still managed to lose interest fairly soon.

If it wasn't P2W it would be 3 stars as it would not be that bad. But listen... it's moba with hard to grind items that make you more powerful. You have to play forever to lvl up items with bonus stats or just pay to have them. Advantages you can get are game breaking.
You might not understand how 15% bonus to running speed can make you dominant player, but it will not change a fact it will just make you win.
You can farm it yourself for 40 hours vs P2W players... it's just mobile game standard practice or even worse.
HOW?!

My actual rating of this game would probably be a 1.5/5.
However, fuck Tencent. Don't support them. They're horrible. If you don't know why they're horrible, do some research. They're "directly" tied to the Chinese goverment.
First of all, MOBAs are just bad. Also, microtransactions are bad. Also, mobile games are bad. Also, games that pretend like they're not just mobile games because they got slapped on to the Switch are bad.
Secondly, this game would have gotten zero attention if it wasn't a Pokemon game. The ACTUAL only redeeming quality is that it's "a Pokemon game".
I had some fun playing it with friends when it came out but it is so repetitive and monotonous that it got boring after a few weeks.
It really doesn't have any redeeming qualities.
There are SO many cool ways that Pokemon games could expand in to different genres, but they choose to go the simplest and most offensive route. Why? Oh yeah, it's easy money. Don't fall for it. There's no passion here, it's just a cash cow.
TL;DR - Fuck Tencent
