My Darling Daughter
This was my first Shantae game and it was a pretty solid experience. I got lost at a couple points but I'm pretty sure that's the point. You're supposed to backtrack and see what your new abilities have unlocked elsewhere.

This game looks great and plays hella snappy.
It has A LOT going for it. The soundtrack is S tier, the design is S tier, the level design I think is S tier, but compared to the previous game, the actual gameplay is a little slower and thus not as enjoyable. Luckily people are telling me the gameplay in the next entry is perfection.
This game is really cute but at the same time u prob shouldnt play it in front of your parents

i originally didnt like the style change, but it grew on me and love this game as much as pirate's curse in retrospect
This is only based on the normal mode of the main story. It was a great Metroidvania platformer which made me interested in looking into the previous titles of the series. The graphics and animation are great, stages challenging and engaging, full of content to do, and not much to collect to 100% aka perfect for someone like me. I beat it all in a few weeks and it was great all the way though.
Solid kickstarted Shantae game that took away the metroidvania and became a level based platformer. New, great character designs and the music was PHENOMENAL.
Definitely the best of the Shantae games that I played. Challenging but fun platforming and very original.

It's linear and easy, but it does enough to impress me for 20 bucks. Art style smashes the previous games pixel art out of the water, music is super catchy (enough to crack Smash Ultimates soundtrack), and gameplay is tight and satisfying.
The game feels a little kickstarter-y in places with half baked ideas that only exist for stretch goals, but it's oddly charming to see the developers try to pack in all these ideas into a short game.
Took me 8 hours to 100% and I might replay it with the DLC on Switch since I've been thinking of the game.

Not as fun as Pirate's Curse. But Shantae is still fun to be around.
ngl took me forever to get into it. I would pick it up and put it down again but once i got into it i got INTO it. Had a fun time and has me considering the other Shantae titles
Um jogo lindíssimo, mas bem simplório.
For the first time in the series, levels have become very straight forward, the Metroidvania aspect is kinda gone here, but that doesn't mean it's a bad game. Half-Genie Hero gave Shantae a whole new artstyle, DLCs, a fanart gallery and more! It's definitely very charming and colorful, nice game!
One of the best entries in the saga.
Fun, clean level design, vibrant graphics and nice looking characters, in conjunction with a great OST. And the trademark silliness from this series. Is always fun to watch all the misfortunes poor Shantae has to face.

A bit divisive, cause this game does away with the metroidvania design and is more of a standard platformer. Art is good, music is good. It's very repayable and has fun bonus modes. I like it

While a step down from Pirate's Curse, it's still a great time overall with some fantastic music and good level design. The backtracking gets a bit too much at times, though.

I hyped this game waaaay too much up in my head and from memory, it just doesnt feel good to play, not fluid, and seeing all the characters and not feeling anything for anything happening just sucks
