The worst thing about this game is the save file management (you better never delete the game or lose your phone), apart from that this is probably the best gacha game I have ever played... because the game uses a fixed seed which you can use to predict your rolls. Even if you don't cheat the gacha, the gameplay is pretty fun. The game is offline single-player which is rare to see on mobile.

My personal favorite mobile game. I've just recently caught up with the updates. I've been playing this game on and off since 2015. The worst part about the game is one word, Treasures. They are completely required to advance through anything past the second chapter and require tons of grinding. Once you have all of the Empire of Cats treasures, the game just keeps getting better and better. There is some treasure grinding, but not as much. The strategies required to beat some stages are so intricate and cool. The gameplay gets extremely deep, despite the cute and simple exterior. The game is continuing to be updated and the updates are getting better, as shown by 10.9, the update with aku enemies. When it comes to microtransactions, all of them are such bad deals, that you will never be tempted to spend a cent. I love the game, and if you can break through the boring grind of the early game, you can have a great time.

Battle Cats is a game where you collect funny cats and use them to take over the world. The gameplay is very basic, but the cats are very funny. There is definitely some typical mobile/gacha game bullshit here, but the game's generous enough with free stuff that it's not too much of a problem. It's not something I see myself going back to anytime soon, but it's probably one of the better mobile games I've played.

The only mobile game I played for more than 1 day actually kinda fun and unlike most gachas you can actually play well and progress without realmonies

unironically a good gacha game.

This would be the best mobile game ever if it didn't have the worst save file system in existence.

These cats are ridiculous, hilarious, spontaneous

They’re absolutely great

The battle cats expands upon the casual gacha format with CATS and more cats. It features a timing based system which requires one to wait before they can play more of the game, it is a game designed for grinding and does quite well in that with its non-skill based strategy which requires one to train units and feature them in teams which utilize the others for success.

VERY hard to get into with some stages being repetitive from another. also some major balancing issues, but has a very active and fluid unit meta. gacha system seems unfair and inconsistent at first, but doing some light google searches about the banners before rolling them is more than enough to get through most of the game without the need of excessive grinding.

i got this for the eva collab but forgot about the collab when the time came and when it rolled back round i forgot again and remembered with only two days to go, which was not enough time to get strong enough

the last thing i saw playing this game was zeruel casually strolling towards my base, steamrolling every cat i threw at it

(the gameplay's real fun though and i adore the character bio flavour text!)

The game was fun at first but is kind of repetitive and limits your playtime unless you spend money. its a typical mobile gacha game

im way too autistic about this game lol

The best mobile game in the market. You can remove the whole gacha aspect by seed tracking. All skill baybeee!!!

literalmente o melhor jogo mobile

The main selling point of this game are the visuals and comedy, which are quite goofy and charming- at least before they realized how popular anime girls were and Fortnited some of the game's identity away. The type-counter-system thing is pretty decent, and I did enjoy beating a few of the story modes. Beyond that? You're in for a total slog. There is no care whatsoever whether gacha units are remotely viable or not, and as there are no viewable stats to speak of, making the ability of units you want a matter of guesswork or Wikipedia investigation. There have been dozens of free seasonal units given out, about three of which are even usable. Don't bother going for specific cats- two years of FTP tickets used on the same pool and never got what I was after. The most fundamental flaw of this game pops up later on, when you're absolutely required to analyze the precise timing, ability, range, etc. of enemies if you want a chance at winning (none of which is knowable via in-game information). The visuals of dozens of cats overlapping each other will completely obscure what you or the enemy is doing. I could barely even follow guides for this reason. The music (of which there are only a few tracks spread over a hundred+ stages) sounds cheap and doesn't even loop correctly. I'm sorry, but I'm frustrated to have spent so much of my time on this dopamine snare. It's awful. I implore you, spend your money on a real game.

What can I say?

Best gacha mobile game. FCKING EVER.

You start with this single cat unit you deploy on the battle field, and fight dogs. Then there's some lil dudes and eventually more animals and more enemies, you get more cat units and theyre all so f
cking cool and strange like holy sht one of the "basic" units is a fcking titan cat and one is a damn fish.

Then around 6 chapters onwards and you kill god. Standard JRPG sht right there, I love it so much.

The game doesn't really have a proper story but it doesn't matter to me that much, it makes the game ever more batsh
t insane to play and look at which is just in the end funnier. But don't come expecting a chill time about a game where a empire of cats kill other animals for territory and conquer whole fcking countries, then planets, and other cool lands and challenges.

NO. This is maybe one of the hardest games I've ever found myself to play. Not only hardest, LONGEST. You will get addicted to this game, and you will sell your soul to it.

There are some bullsh
t levels later in the game, you optimally need all of the "cat treasures" from each of the 9 campaign chapters, and you must roll the gacha if you want to get anywhere. However getting units for free from the gacha is not that time-consuming, you can get rare tickets every now and then, or use cat food which you can also get for free for clearing stages (stages consist of multiple levels), or buy if you're a p2w scum (nope, totally never done that myself).

You have rare, super rare, uber super rare, and then the legend rare cat units. You can clear a lot of the game's first parts with just the free basic cat units, as well as the special units that you can get for free, some of which you can buy for catfood, along with rare cats and a few super rare cats. Uber super rares get useful, especially in the late-late-late game, but "Uber carrying" is not really needed if you have good strategies.

But trust me, the game can be unforgiving. There's a lot of grinding every now and then, but in the end I would call it one of my favorite games, and the best mobile and gacha game I know of.

How to be addicted to gacha games
Step 1: make tower defense
Step 2: make funny cats
Step 3: sense of progression of power
Step 4: profit. fuck the gacha though the cost requirements are way too high and you get Cat Food, the in-game currency, way too slow to show how predatory it is to make you buy it.

Mobile perfection, cute cats and a fantastic strategy game all in one.

Unironically the best tower defense I've ever played.
