one of the few gacha games i've ever been seriously invested in, it's got silly cats and great tactical gameplay. they're pretty generous about giving away free units too, so it's free to play friendly :3

I've played this game since the early update since now and i never bored. I even lost multiple save file and started again from scratch. I can't give this game perfect score because it lacks a lot of convenient feature, like cloud save and fast forward
I love TD games. Battle Cats isn't your normal TD but it's good none the less.

I started playing this game a long time ago (around 2013). Then this game was not translated into English and over time I abandoned it. Somewhere at the end of 2023 I decided to download and play it again. I got hooked and recently completed 1 of 4 Story Chapters in the game ("Empire of Cats"). I'm currently playing through "Into the Future" and I'm stuck on the level (stage) "The Great Abyss". The game is a rather monotonous Tower Defense game, but I like it. The game has a lot of different cats for different game strategies. Lots of content. Every month there are different events. I liked this game.

The battle cats expands upon the casual gacha format with CATS and more cats. It features a timing based system which requires one to wait before they can play more of the game, it is a game designed for grinding and does quite well in that with its non-skill based strategy which requires one to train units and feature them in teams which utilize the others for success.

I like it but it is NOT worth getting into if you haven't been playing it for like a decade. The early game seriously sucks cock but it's a lot more fun once you get going into SoL and UL.
