Awesome chill game that can be very tranquil driving down the rainy interstate listenin' to the radio. Also great vehicle customization, def with some mods! 4.5/5

the phases i go through with the truck sims are crazy. i'm either obsessed or completely bored. but i love collecting the points of interest

Some very nice roads, however ETS2 is much more enjoyable.
literally the same game as euro truck simulator except you never drive on the left side of the road. Still great

the dlc have gotten consistently better. looking forward to wyoming and will play some more when that comes out
It's my go to game to play when I need to keep my hands occupied and I want to listen to some music or watch a long YouTube video.
Though not super different than Euro Truck Simulator 2, the lack of traffic cameras and a very predictable police AI, makes this game a lot more chill to play for me.

It's shocking how well designed and good to play this game is, which certainly can explain how relaxing rolling down the highway, listening to your own music, or even a radio station, can be.

Almost bounced off this game because attempting a hard parking job broke my spirit (godspeed anyone that has to do that for a living) but after sucking in my pride and opting out of that I had a really nice time with this! Especially once you get your own truck you get into a nice groove of taking a job, resting, driving to the next business, etc. Wish the default region was more interesting than the American west but I'm sure all the DLC fixes that (and I can see myself bumping this to 5-stars once I buy it all on sale).
Make sure to play this with MLB Radio in the background to really let the immersion set in.

truck drivin son of a bitch
The ultimate zen game. Turn on some music, buckle in and start truckin. Tons of content. A light management side to the game. Varied environments. Just a cool game to zone out to. Less content than Euro Truck Sim 2 but more familiar if you're an American. Which might be more likable.
It's great at being a truck simulator. It can be pretty boring at times, and everywhere I want to see in the game seems to be blocked off for construction..

While I love it, the fact that there's no Midwest or East Coast is a huge disappointment to me
Super relaxing game to wind down with after work/school. The recent addition of online convoys are also great if you wanna talk to people while you do jobs.
It's a truck simulator. What do you expect.
