Can't believe I'm finally a cowboy

my intro into suda51 games and man it was great
one of the best hack and slashes ive played and i really dont like them lol
the characters are fun and goofy, the music is bumping

jogo tem um senso de humor legal e combate até que bacana.

Goofy as fuck but it's good, hate the pc port.

The gameplay gets repetitive after a while and that grind be like a 90's rpg but it has some fun ass bosses and the game is just hilarious, Feeling a strong 8. That ending crazy too don't get me twisted 😭

One of my favorite games of all time

Johnny Knoxville Hentai Simulator.

bu oyundan sonra başka oyununu oynamaya gerek yok gibi hissettim

My favorite game of all time. I could seriously write a series of essays about the different things I love about this game. Every last aspect of No More Heroes resonates with me in some shape or form, be it its characters, game-play, music, I mean seriously, I don't think you've lived until you've experienced cutting the heads off of multiple guys at once with the swing of a Wii remote and watching as your Wii chugs, struggling to handle all the blood effects while beam katakana sounds play from the remotes crusty old speaker. I'm glad this game exists, I wouldn't be the same person I am without it.

No More Heroes makes use of the wii's motion controls better than any other game. The combat is fun just because you don't need to rely on motion controls, but finishing enemies off with a swift swipe is satisfying enough. Because the game is so stylized, it still pops to this day.

The second part of this game is.. chores. Huh. I actually really like ones like lawnmowing while others are very boring.

Travis as a protagonist is a lovable loser. Dude lives in an apartment with his cat, has anime posters, figures, and wrestling gear, all while having one goal. To be #1 (and get the girl)

With 4th wall humor and a satire on bosses, violence, and heroes is exceptional and a must play.

The game definetley has personality, but I just couldn't get past the clunky gameplay mechanics.

this game defined my childhood by making the pure child me believe that someone was living in my wiimote

a stylized hack n slash masterpiece about escapism

There's nothing I don't like about this game. Even the boring parts like doing a part time job I feel are supposed to be boring because y'know, that's what having a shitty part time job is like!
I love how the game looks with it's bold black shadows (which are dark grey on switch for some reason), how it sounds with FUCKING AMAZING tracks for both bosses and general encounters, motion controls work from what I've tried on the Wii version and the difficulty doesn't really escalate until the final final boss.
Please play it OR just listen to the ost.

despite the pc port being shit,i liked this game

My 20's are like this if you remove the cool swords and motorcycles

A bit too bold even for my taste. The controls I had to deal with were awful but that is purely emulator issue, and I gotta say that had to be the most difficult thing I had to struggle with in this game (as of to say the game itself is one-linear, and extremly easy). Other than that, it's just plain. Game gives you "many activities" but really none of them have any depth to them. I gotta give props for the ost, and them wrestling moves though. 3/5

i didnt beat it but if i booted up my wii again i think i would try, so unique memorable and i wanna kiss travis

Uniqueness and fun go a long way, but I could see someone hating this just as much as I liked it.

This game is a true Wii classic but unfortunately, it has too many large scale flaws for me to give it the full five star rating.

Positives:
1. The games graphics and overall style are amazing especially for the Wii with it's slick cel-shaded look
2. The combat while not too deep is really visceral and fun especially with the final attacks and wrestling moves
3. The soundtrack is amazing with it's boss themes to the remixed versions of the main themes in the levels
4. The bosses are the highlight of the game and some of the best in gaming (ex: bad girl, Harvey, Henry)
5. The story is great with keeping not only you the player motivated since you want to fight harder bosses but also keeps Travis motivated since he gets (in theory) to bang someone in the end. The games self awareness also shines in the final boss, secret boss, and true ending
6. The humor is pretty good and on brand for Suda51

Negatives
1. (Applies only to the Steam version) The game has issues that you need to either just deal with or work on yourself (Ex: game crashes if you skip the boss leaderboard screen too early, game locks at 720p if your computer scale isn't set to 100%, game stutters if your refresh rate is above 60hz, and it's online only for no apparent reason)
2. The most criticized part of the game: The hub world. while I'm personally ok with it, I won't deny the fact that it's very monotonous having to grind side missions just to get to the next level which grinds the pacing to a halt. not to mention the one hit side missions have the capability of being very frustrating
3. The difficulty teeters too much on the easy side. While there are parts in the early game that will kick your ass (ex:The shinobu fight as it teaches you not to button mash), most of the boss fights can be cleared on your first try on the highest available difficulty which is the games normal mode. Even when you unlock bitter mode, it's only accessible on new game + which by then if you weren't doing a challenge run, you'll have all of your upgrades which'll basically make the increased enemy stats borderline negligible
4. The side missions themselves while pretty funny the first time around, considering that you have to repeat them many times later on, get real boring real fast. Most of them revolve around the same structure which is collect as many of X in a time limit
