Simple yet more enjoyable than most of the recent CoDs/Battlefields. Definitely one to re-visit every now and then but if player counts start to dwindle then likely going to turn into a sweat-fest. Some map designs are better than others and allow for full-scale flanks, which can be quite fun to pull off with friends.
(Catching up on ratings for multiplayer games I have been playing).
This game is really cool and a huge accomplishment for a small studio like this, but it is missing a little something for me. The shooting feels very good and it is hella satisfying to get kills once you get into a groove (although it usually takes halfway through a game for me to get into a groove), but each game generally feels the same. The novelty of such huge lobbies is fun, but it makes you feel like you're not actually doing all that much to make objective progress. I know there are smaller lobby sizes, but those aren't as easy to find. The maps are all good, but feel a little similar in vibe. I think the weapon modification is really awesome and lets you pick and choose exactly how you want your game to feel. The game is fun for sure, and I see why so many would like it, but it is not gonna be my multiplayer game of choice. I will be playing it every once in a while though because the game is fun from time to time.

A super cool Battlefield-like. Big maps, vehicles, 100s of players, destructible environments, and tonnes and tonnes of player choice.
Even accepting that the visuals are de-emphasized in favour of performance, I do really dislike the way the game looks. I respect their dedication to spectacle and scale though.
Steam Deck notes: this game is BEGGING to be played with a keyboard and mouse, so I wouldn't recommend it on a Deck or even on a standard desktop with a controller. There are some good community layouts on Steam but it's a dense game with a lot of commands. Performance wise however, it was pretty dang good on the Deck. Frame rate got a little choppy when literal 100s of players descended on one objective point, but only in rare cases.
