Biased because I think nearly every mini-game collection is perfect, but this specific release has a really sturdy variety of mini-games that are easy to win but tough to master, and spaces them well between good old fashioned mash-offs. It's a top-tier party pick.

I used to play this all the time with my friend Rhona. She also got me into Anime and Final Fantasy back in the day.

Anyway, she's now a successful medical doctor and I review games on Backloggd and think Kill La Kill is really good, so thanks for that Rhona.

just fun, pure fun. play this with your friends.

the "super" half of the disc (compilation 1 in japan) kinda sucks but the other half (compilation 2) is KINO

If you’re not consumed by Wii Party and it’s horse racing mode, or sick to death of Wario Ware, Inc., and you’re hungry for more social multi-player gaming, then it might be time to revisit Bishi Bashi Special. It can currently be picked up for £3.49 on the PlayStation Store. That works out at less than 5p a game, making it quite possibly the bargain of the century.

Used to love playing this. Great variety of fun quick minigames, many fond memories of playing this with my friends and brother.

si no decías ATTENTION!!! antes de la explicación de cada minijuego no tienes derecho a decir que has jugado a esto

mario party minigames with some of that Good Ol' Japanese Magic (cocaine)

I honestly have a big bag of feelings with this game. Bishi Bashi Special is essentially two Japanese games smashed into one overseas release (The two games titled as Super Bishi Bashi and Hyper Bishi Bashi respectively) and both are pretty similar in nature to the point where some minigames are used on both. Both of these are honestly an absolute blast with friends but theres definitely some issues that stop the collection as a whole from reaching its full potential.

Firstly we have Super Bishi Bashi and unfortunately it is very much the worse of the two thanks to the game just being outright mean at times with its objectives. Even on the easier difficulties, you'll find yourself using continue after continue thanks to an incredibly high skill ceiling, something not helped by some of the minigames being incredibly muddy and hard to control. Sure, they are minigames and if you dont like one, another is right around the corner but theres a few too many misses vs hits.

Thankfully Hyper Bishi Bashi is basically the reason we're here thanks to its fast but fair gameplay leading to all manner of fun moments. The single player portion thanks to the fairness also is better off, doubly so as the game decided to split the minigame selections into two nice playlists, one focusing entirely on single player score chasing, another focusing on direct competition against an AI or human opponent.

Overall the collection still stands strong but I do constantly wish the 'Super' side of the compilation was better.
