this is, hands down, the most entertaining fighting game to both play and watch. to this day, i don't know if i really ever want a CVS3, because it would just have an impossible precedent to follow. there's a reason why this game still has its diehards after almost two decades, and it's a game i cannot recommend enough.
"A Match Made in Heaven" if you will, Capcom took their next step in the collaboration with SNK and made a timeless classic. A massive roster of the best characters each had to offer with 6 different choices of "grooves" that can change how your super meter fills to the options you have for movement, there's never a dull moment. I don't think the gorgeous stages or the soundtrack would let you get bored anyway.
This is hands down for me the BEST crossover fighting game i ever played, the characters are so loyal to their franchise counterpart and the way they implemented the special bar system is so goddamn genius... my only complaint if any is that we don't get character specific musics but damn, i would kill for a sequel to this one.
